When strawberries are in season, I love to make this super easy strawberry pie made with fresh strawberries.
This strawberry pie is so easy to make that it only consists of FOUR ingredients! For the pie crust you can use any ready-to-bake pie crust found in your grocer’s refrigerator or freezer section, or you can use a graham cracker ready crust found in your grocer’s baking aisle. You can certainly make your own homemade pie crust from scratch but the ready-to-bake pie crusts are just so convenient and time-saving.
Serve this delicious pie at your next Fourth of July party, backyard barbeque, or family gathering.
Let’s get started! Here’s what you’ll need…
Ingredients:
- 1 ready-to-bake frozen pie crust
- 16 oz. fresh strawberries, hulled & sliced
- 13.5 oz. container of strawberry glaze
- 8 oz. container of whipped cream topping
Instructions:
1. Bake the pie shell according to package instructions. Set aside to let cool.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the sliced strawberries and strawberry glaze until well combined.
If the strawberries taste a little tart, feel free to sprinkle a little sugar over the sliced strawberries before you mix with the glaze.
3. Pour strawberry mixture into baked pie shell.
4. Spread whipped cream over top of pie.
Use as much, or as little, whipped cream topping as you like.
5. Cover and chill in refrigerator for 4 hours before serving. Enjoy!
