These Brussels sprouts not only taste amazing, but they are super easy to make. Serve these at your next dinner party and everyone will think you are a master chef!
I was never a fan of Brussels sprouts growing up but wanted to give them another try. That’s when I stumbled upon Christin’s blog, Spicy Southern Kitchen, and found her roasted Brussels sprouts recipe and fell in love. She turns ordinary tasteless Brussels sprouts into a sweet and spicy gourmet delight!
This recipe can be the perfect side dish to serve at your next holiday meal, or just a great side dish to eat with some healthy grilled chicken and a side salad. Either way they certainly will not disappoint!
Let’s get to cookin’! Here’s what you’ll need…
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ – 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, halved or quartered with stems trimmed
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- ½ tbsp. Cajun seasoning
- 4 slices of bacon, diced
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 3 tsp. Tabasco sauce
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray an 11×13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
2. In prepared casserole dish add Brussels sprouts, and drizzle with olive oil and shower with Cajun seasoning. Set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat for about 7 minutes, until almost halfway done.
4. Pour bacon and bacon grease into prepared casserole dish. Gently toss all ingredients together in casserole dish until well combined.
5. Place in oven and roast for about 20-25 minutes.
6. In a small bowl, add honey and Tabasco sauce. Stir together until well combined.
7. Drizzle the Tabasco honey glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts. Gently toss all ingredients together in casserole dish until well combined. Enjoy!
